What is G.A.C. ?
A prescription preparation may provide assistance. Revive offers a wide range of vitamins, amino acids, and compounded medications that may be used as fat burners for weight management, to provide an energy boost, or to assist with recovery. Revive offerings include a combination of amino acids called GOAL (glutamine, Ornithine, arginine, Lysine) that come in an injectable form.
Gutamine, L-Arginine, and L-Carnitine (GAC) injections are utilized as an aid to boost performance. GAC is a supplement that is made up of super amino acids used by your body to balance hormones, boost metabolism, and build muscle tissue. The 3 different ingredients in the GAC cocktail have their unique way in which they allow your body to burn fat, build muscle, and promote overall health. The first step of the whole process starts with the Glutamine:
Glutamine plays a role in protein synthesis and many anabolic and repair processes. It helps regulate acid-base balance in the kidney by producing ammonium, then becoming a nontoxic transporter of ammonia in blood circulation. As a source of cellular energy, glutamine is next to glucose. In catabolic states of injury and illness, glutamine becomes conditionally essential requiring intake from food or supplements.
If you are sensitive to MSG you might be sensitive to glutamine. It may worsen some liver conditions, cause mental changes in people with mania, and may increase the likelihood of seizures in some people. Glutamine may interact with some chemotherapy drugs and lactulose.
L-Ornithine is metabolized to L-arginine. L-arginine stimulates the pituitary release of growth hormone. Arginine increases nitric oxide production which in turn causes vasodilation and relaxes the arteries and may improve erectile sysfunction. Arginine helps the kidneys remove waste products from the body and helps maintain immune system function.
Side effects may include a burn-like reaction at the injection site. Do not use if hypersensitive to arginine. Other side effects may include bloating, diarrhea, gout and worsening of breathing in people with asthma.
Carnitine helps remove toxins from the body (to be deleted in urine). Lack of carnitine can lead to liver, heart, and muscle problems. L-carnitine has alleviating effects on muscle damage following an acute bout of exercise in active healthy young men. Injected L-carnitine can reduce fasting-induced hunger, fatigue, cholesterol abnormalities and hepatic metabolic changes and facilitate fasting-induced weight loss in people with metabolic syndrome
Side effects: might make symptoms of hypothytroidism worse, may make seizures more likely in people who have seizures. Carnitine may increase the effects of warfarin.
