A West Texas native, Amanda Shelton has spent more than 20 years in nursing. She earned her BSN (2002) and MSN in Nursing Administration (2008) at West Texas A&M University, then completed a Post‑Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner certificate at Carson‑Newman University in 2022.
Her drive to optimize health began while training for the Nashville Marathon with Team Boomer to honor her son, who lives with cystic fibrosis. That experience sparked her passion for thyroid optimization, hormone balance, and preventive wellness—fields she now brings to every patient encounter.
Amanda and her husband, Phillip, have called Chattanooga home since 2015. They stay busy cheering on their two children—Mallory, an incoming Ole Miss Rebel, and Jacob, a multi‑sport high‑school athlete—and actively fundraise for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
